How to download Pokemon Go from Google Play if you live in an unsupported country.

Here is how to download the official Pokemon Go from the Google Play Store if you live in a country where the game has not been released yet. Unlike on iOS, Google does not let you simply change the country in order to download the Pokemon Go app. Also with all the malicious Pokemon Go apk's, it is not advised to side load the game using an apk found on the web. This method is an easy solution to install the official apk and that does not require any changes in your Google Wallet or Payment account (some methods on the internet require you to do this).

1) Turn on developer mode: on your phone go to "Settings", scroll all the way down to "About phone" and look for “Build number”. Tap on it 7 times until you see the text "You are now a developer".

2) Turn on mock location: now go back to your settings menu and look for the submenu "Developer options". Click on it and look for "Allow mock locations", enable this.

3) VPN app: go to the Google Play Store and download a free VPN app. I use Tunnelbear, just install it and register: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tunnelbear.android . After this select "United States" as country and hit the "connect" button. When connected leave the app.

4) Clear Google Play data: On your phone go to "settings" again, then "apps" and search for the "Google Play Store" app. Select it and click "Clear all data". That's it! Now if you open up the Play Store you will find Pokemon Go!

5) IMPORTANT: If step 5 does not work, it is because you have a Google Wallet/Payment account. In this case what you need to do is: go to your phone "settings", then "accounts" and "add account". Select "Google" account and create a new account/email address. Just walk to the registration process. When finished go to the Play Store, click the menu button and switch to your new email account. That's it!

6) Turn off location: turn off "Allow mock location" once you done installing the game.

Let me know if this works for you.

Permissions explained

Cause we get a lot of questions about the permissions in our apps, We will try to explain it with this post. Most permissions are in our apps because we use advertisements. Most of the permissions are used for advertisement purposes only and we had to incorporate those permissions in order to use the system from the ad agencies. Please understand that we need to have ads in our games in order to make free games. So let us explain the most important permissions:
